COVID Talk: Got my 2nd jab last Saturday

I’d like to explain my reasons, which I hope are more nuanced than what one often hears.

UPDATE 5 In opting to get the COVID vaccine, I subjectively judged the chances to be 75%-85% that:

– The vaccine would help protect me from getting COVID, or from becoming seriously ill with COVID.

– The short-term side effects of the vaccine would be mild or tolerable.

– There would be no serious long-term side effects of a sort presently unknown.
